Tyra Banks won't be back. Fall lineup to be announced mid-September on GMA.
"Good news, DWTS fans! After a season away on Disney+, season 32 will be making its return to broadcast TV, airing once again on ABC. But it won't stray from streaming, airing simultaneously on Disney+ as well".

Robin!
GREAT to see you again
How ya doin'? I hope you're well
Yeah, DWTS is going back to over-the-air TV where it belongs. It's because of the writers strike, I guess. The networks need some "unscripted" programming to fill their lineups out until the strike is settled and the writers return
"Fonzy" Ribiero is the new host. An inspired choice in my opinion. He already has an association with the show as a past winner, and he has hosting experience as well ("America's Funniest Home Videos"). Best of all he's not Tyra:)
And Young Julianne Hough takes over Erin Andrews' old spot, interviewing the dancers after their performances. That's a good role for YJH. Keeps her far away from the judges panel, where she does not belong:)

Hi, Ache!
Wasn't sure you were still around. I'm okay. Hanging in there :) Glad DWTS is coming back. Without cable I can hardly find anything to watch except reruns. And the 10 minute commercials are brutal.

Haha
Yeah, some of the commercials now are really l-o-n-g
The worst for me is "Omega XL", which is some kind of magic pill that is supposed to relieve pain and inflammation
I dunno if it works or not, but the ad goes on forever. It never ends, I swear:)

What about Shriners Childrens Hospital. And the Animal Charity ones. And the cancer kids (St Jude's). Just awful!!!

Except for these two little guys: (who have natural showmanship and seem to love the spotlight), the kids featured in the Shriners' ads (and St Jude's) are not performers, so the spots they appear in are a little cringe-y to watch And the poor kids weakened from their chemo treatment...featuring them seems exploitative to me. Just sayin' But usually I click out of these ads immediately anyway, don't you? That's what we have the remote for:) Others that I avoid: mesothelioma, Camp Lejeune, and "Your money's on the way with Cash Net USA!"

I change the channel for a few minutes, or I get up and leave the room. Those kids are cute and excellent performers. The one on the left is in college and drives a car. The medical condition makes them look much younger than they really are.

I have heard of Jason Mraz, but I can't name a single song of his. Do you know any, Robin? Adrian Peterson, of course, I know from his playing days in the NFL The lovely Charity Lawson (who I will be rooting for) of The Bachelorette is paired with Artem, I see. Last time he had a Bachelorette gal for a partner, he won (Kaitlyn Bristowe) It says of Xochitl Gomez (whoever she is. I'm going to call her "Patty Gomez") that she "becomes the first MCU superhero to grace the Dancing with the Stars stage". What is an MCU superstar, I wonder?

I am rooting for Barry Williams, Mira Sorvino, Allison Hannigan, and Jamie Lynn Spears. Maybe Britney will show up to cheer her on. Might be interesting...
At least I've heard of this group :)

Hi, Robin. Yup, tonight is it
I think starting next week DWTS goes back to its usual Monday night
The past three weeks NFL Football has taken over that slot

I enjoyed seeing Gleb and Artem again. :) And Bruno, of course.
Don't know about this bunch, there's a lot to weed out! That last one (Ariana) stole the show, then came Charity, Lele, and Jason. I'm going to have to look these folks up as I don't have a clue what their claim to fame is.
A lot of the stars were totally out of shape and stiff as a board on the dance floor.
Not surprised Matt Walsh got eliminated. He was making a big fuss all week about the strike...probably didn't practice enough.
"It was a tough week for Matt Walsh and Koko Iwasaki. The Veep star got into hot water last week when the show was picketed over his participation in it as a WGA member. Though he was eventually able to return due to the resolution of the strikes, he was clearly out of step, landing on the bottom of the leaderboard and getting eliminated".
Barry, Mauricio, and Harry will be soon gone...unless they improve dramatically in the near future.

I didn't know that about Matt. He should have been focusing more on his routine, and less on the picket line. It was a distraction for him, I'm sure I actually didn't see any of his performance last night. I had a very late dinner, and when he was on the dance floor, I was in the kitchen Apparently I didn't miss much though; he got straight 4's across the board, and now he is off the show Oh, well. Happy trails, Matt Walsh (whoever you are) In addition to the four top dancers you mentioned (Lele, Charity, Jason, and Ariana) I would also like to add Mira Sorvino. She was outstanding! Nice long legs too which are always an asset in the ballroom. And a good partner IMO she has a shot to go all the way and win the "Mira Ball Trophy". Did you see what I did there, Robin? Very clever, right? But seriously I like it that they renamed the trophy in honor of the great Len Goodman. Nice gesture and tribute PS Two & a half hours?? Robin, why didn't you warn me? I thought the show was never going to end:)

Dinner after 8p...can't remember when:)
I stop eating after 4p otherwise it will interfer with my thyroid med.
Mira is a beauty, but remember she was part of that "me too" movement. Claims H Weinstien caused her some problems because she rejected his advances.

I almost always have dinner after 8PM. After 10 is rare. Last Tuesday however was kind of a hectic day for me, so I ate later than usual
Mira was part of the MeToo BS, huh? Oh, geez. Somebody better warn poor Gleb before she accuses him of inappropriate touching or something:)
Not sure I'm going to able to root for her now

Yes, Robin. I've already texted him
"Protect yourself, buddy", I said. "The gal is poison"
Latin Night tomorrow though. Gleb always gets super randy dancing the Paso
I'm worried he might do something inadvertently to put himself in danger of being falsely accused!

Haha
Yeah, I remember you and I discussing Gleb's alleged affair with Crishell a few seasons ago
It was a big scandal at the time:)
Difference though between being an unfaithful husband and being the accused of a MeToo-like allegation
The latter is more potentially damaging to him it seems to me
So Gleb needs to keep his distance
I will text him again tonight to make sure he is on his guard:)

Apparently the paso doble is a "ballroom" dance, not a "Latin" dance. Who knew?
So Gleb was never in any real ummm...danger yesterday. I feel foolish now for having texted him the past two nights:)
Glad to see JLS get the boot. Just 32 years old, but looks much older, doesn't she? Overweight. Bad hair extensions. Ponderous breasts. Kind of a mess actually
And after her performance last night I guess we have to add Val's partner, X, to the contender group. It was funny though when Carrie Ann compared her to Rita Moreno. By the look on her face it appeared X had no idea who Rita Moreno is lol

Not surprised J was eliminated. However, I thought Harry and Barry were even worse.
Poor Artem...will this stupid virus ever go away.

Mauricio too
It's a pretty weak cast of male dancers this season
Except for Jason, there isn't a single standout in the entire group. I have doubts about him too
They were just being overly cautious with Artem. He probably had sniffles
He'll be back next week, I'm sure

I often focus more on the pro dancer too, Robin. Including and especially Daniella who you mentioned
Her flicks & kicks during her jive routine last night were insane! They really showed off her sexy gams
IMO she has taken over as hottest female dance pro on the show. It's a long list of beauties as you know: Edyta, Karina, Anna, Sharna, and so on. And now Daniella
Peta once topped the list too, but, man, has she hit the wall, huh? Apparently living with Maks as long as she has will do that to a gal:)
I dunno how Harry keeps sneaking by every week, but he did it again last night. It's a miracle he has survived three eliminations now
He's terrible in hold (even I see that). Awkward, unsure of himself
I suspect he is better at romance than he is at dancing. Rylee is a little young for him though. I hope he is behaving himself appropriately:)

Oh, I didn't know. Well, that's good news. Glad to hear it! Not even four months since giving birth. No wonder Peta's body isn't as tight as usual. She'll whip it back into shape We should send a gift out for the baby, Robin How about this?: A giant panda from the famous Hamleys toy store in London It's bigger than Maks!

Perfect!
My favorite stuffed toy was a vintage home-made sock monkey :)
I bet his Ukranian grandma makes him one.

To give you an idea of just how big the panda is...that's Maks on the left full sized: A sock monkey? You mean like this hip dude right here?: I like him. Don't you?
