Apparently America "ships" Harry & Rylee, ie it has an emotional investment in/is rooting hard for their romance to take off
That may explain why Harry is still on the show. Otherwise he should have been booted off weeks ago
The judges gave him straight 7's last night, so they see improvement from him, but he looks like the same ol' Harry to me
Just sayin'
Next week there's a special tribute performance honoring Len Goodman. Many former pro's are expected to participate including Karina, Tony, and Maks. I'm looking forward to it
Also I believe next week is "My Most Memorable Year" week, which is usually kinda okay. Better than Disney week at least
Disney sucks!

Next week sounds good. Never cared for Disney, even as a kid I thought it was boring. Animated films are stupid, Imo.
Rylee is only 18! Geez let the girl grow up a little bit, plus I think she can do better than Harry. I still don't get how he is a celebrity. Never heard of him before.

He appeared on a dating show in the UK or something. I think that's what Harry is famous for. Although I am not sure about that
LeLe and X are a mystery to me too; I don't know what they do exactly either, but at least they can dance:)
I associate Disney with woke, leftist politics now, so I'm not a fan. Although I never really was anyway
I can't think of a single Disney film I have watched in the last twenty years. Even longer actually

I'm more surprised to learn about Emma & Sasha divorcing than I am to find out about Emma & Mauricio out on a date I didn't know Emma & Sasha split up Robin, why did not informed me about this sooner?  |

Yeah, I was shocked too. I knew they lived together and had a house and a dog. I didn't realize they had married. Sad that it didn't work out. I hope the dog is okay :) Maybe Sasha got to keep the dog at least.

Just did a bit more research and it appears that the reason for the split was "kids".
Sasha was ready to start a family, but Emma was not.
However, she has had her eggs frozen to keep her options open.

Mira Sorvino has an IQ of 140 and is a member of Mensa. She is married to Christopher Backus and is 14 years his senior.
I suspect her involvement in "Me Too" may have been a factor in her not getting enough votes.
Mira is on Celebrity Jeopardy tonight at 8p channel 5. Might be a rerun or at least prerecorded.

140 IQ? Wow, that's impressive. I did not know that about Mira. She must be wicked smart. Let's see how well she does tonight on Jeopardy
I felt bad for her last night though. She appeared genuinely brokenhearted when she got the bad news
Mira seemed to really enjoy her time on the show. She did well too. I thought her performances were better than her scores indicated
Meanwhile the Mystery of Dancing Harry (ie, how is that klutz still on the show?) remains unsolved
PS Nice tribute performance for Len. He would have enjoyed it, I'm sure. Very well done
One quibble: the floor was so dimly lit, I had trouble ID'ing the dancers. I saw Tony, and I saw Maks, but I did not spot Karina. I'm not even sure she participated actually

According to wiki, Sasha is 39, which isn't all that old, but I can understand why he's anxious to start a family. He doesn't want to wait until he's elderly before his firstborn arrives On the other hand pregnancy puts Emma's dancing areer on hold, so I understand why she wanted to delay the baby making You'd think they would have had this all worked out between them though before they got married, right? Hey, wanna bet Emma would put her career on hold to have Mauricio's baby? |

Yeah, that was an emotional number, the song Moon River was perfect. Sad, I thought Bruno was going to lose it, Carrie had to console him. Btw: I had the same thoughts about Emma. Maurico already has a boy and a girl so he may be done with babies. Wouldn't it be funny if she decides she wants one with him. I feel bad for Pasha, they have known each other since 2011. Hey, she could have gone the surrogate route if she didn't want to lose her shape. There must be more to it than the kid thing. |

You're probably right. Their disagreement about when to have kids was one reason they divorced, but likely not the only reason
It had to be more complicated than that
Yeah, I saw Kim. According to an article I just read Karina was there last night
Edyta too and Anna Trebunskya. I missed them as well:)
But regardless they all did a fabulous job with the dance

I did not care for Niecy giving out low scores, she's not a dancer. And Harry is still there.
Well now Mauricio and Emma can focus on their potential relationship...or not.
Eta: I think Emma should have stuck with Pasha. She may be in over her head with Mauricio (spelling?), he probably goes through women like tissues, lol.

What was Niecy Nash doing on the show anyway? What association does she have with ballroom dancing? What expertise? I found her presence on the judge's table to be very distracting/annoying
And usually guest judges give out higher scores, not lower. She gave Mauricio a 7 for his argentine tango, while the three real judges gave him an 8
For all we know poor Mauricio got bounced from the show because of that one point Niecy neglected to give him

Meanwhile Dancing Harry received the lowest scores of the night again and was second knocked out of the Dance MONSTER-THON which meant he received the fewest bonus points of anyone too, yet he is still around to dance again next week. I don't get it
I ship Mauricio & Emma, not Harry & Rylee:)

I don't know. I thought she sprained her ankle at first, but maybe she just got momentarily lightheaded or something
She insisted several times afterwards she was okay, so she's probably fine

I dozed off waiting for the show to begin, Chronicle bored me to sleep. Paula Abdul's face looks like it is frozen in time, expressionless. She (age 61) should ask the plastic surgeon for a refund.
Surprised that Harry or Barry were not the ones to go. The rest are doing well from what I saw. :)
Eta: At 10p a Dolly Parton Special...couldn't turn the tv off fast enough, lol

I quickly switched out of the Dolly special as well, Robin. Too scary. Halloween was last week
I've always liked her; she seems so genuine and kind, but too many procedures. She makes Paula Abdul look like a Natural Woman
The judges tried to eliminate Harry last night by giving him straight 6's, but he cannot be put down
It's getting embarrassing at this point
They may have to bring back the "Judge's Save" rule to be rid of him

Yeah, as much as I would like to go back to the 70s, DP's look is a real turnoff. But she is a performer, so I get it.
I think a lot of women go through a phase in their 50's and look at plastic surgery as a means to buy back their youth. It's a temporary fix unless you have tons of money to keep getting follow-up treatments.
People should pay more attention to what is going on inside, all kinds of age-related shit that will need medical attention and maintenance as you go along. Arthritis, hypertension, osteoporosis, heart disease, and more. Lots of stuff that's not visible to the naked eye.

Next is Taylor Swift week. Ugh. She turns 34 next month, I don't get all the hoopla she causes. Who was that celebrity judge, I missed it when they announced him. He was quite flamboyant, took some of the spotlight away from Bruno, lol. I liked him though, he was fair.

The guest judge was Billy Porter. I don't know what he does, but he shows up at awards shows every now and then dressed in women's outfits, and everyone tells him how fabulous he is
So I was expecting a lot cringe from him last night, but I agree with you, Robin. He did a half way decent job as 4th judge. That surprised me
Jason is "two spirit", huh? Oh, geez. *triple face palm*. I wasn't rooting for him anyway, but now I'm definitely not rooting for him. I'll take Dancing Harry over Jason

PS Sorry to see ol' Barry get bumped off last night. I appreciated his positive vibe, and I wish he could have hung around for one more week at least

That was a very entertaining episode. I can't believe how mature X is for her age, she is one talented kid, that's for sure.
Emma really nailed it with that dance. Poor Pasha, Emma went to embrace him when he finished his number, and you could see that he tensed up and just went through the motions.
Mauricio was in the audience.
Artem is so handsome, I like the open shirt thing, lol.
