That makes Charo 75 as March 13, not 65.

Yeah, it doesnt show up on my screen either. It was a GIF of Charo. Oh, well I'll try it one more time: She's actually already 75. On the 13th, She'll turn 76! Happy birthday in advance, Maria del Rosario Mercedes Pilar Martinez Molina Baeza!

Hi, Ache
Are you ready? DWTS starts in less than 47 minutes!

You folks aren't keeping Gone entertained. I was dialed in with my normal intensity. Which is to say I watched about 20 minutes, scattered about the first 70 minutes of the show before retiring.
I thought the Cowboy was okay, and it didn't hurt having Sharna the Smoke Show on his arm in those short-shorts. Phew, she's replaced Peta as my new fantasy. Cowboy was underscored. The Bachelor was the best of the ones I watched. Not sure where he stood on the leader board, but all 7's and I hadn't seen anything higher than a 7 up to that point.
How old is Charo? Google said early 60's, but I don't see how that's possible. She's a lunatic. Enjoyable to watch for now, but I suspect if she lasts more than a couple of weeks that her act will tire.
The midget - sorry, this seasons little person - Chris Kattan, was pretty bad. And Nancy Kerrigan looked stiff, still recovering from that knee capping I guess. She seems to large and too big boned to be a figure skater. Instead of DWTS she should have gotten in the ring with Tonya, she'd give her a run for the money.
As for Keo, come brother, have a little respect for yourself. What the hell was that fruity outfit all about?
Speaking of which, the best part of the entire show - no Mark 'LOOK AT ME! ME! ME,ME, ME'. Was he stuck in the dressing room, gazing at himself or is not on the show anymore?

Also, did Charo use Michael Jacksons Plastic Surgeon for that nose job? Big mistake.
Mmmmm, Sharna.

Hi, Slim Thanks for participating. I missed Mr T and Simone, but I plan to catch up in the near future. Charo was born in either 1941 or 1951, depending on which source you choose to believe. I can tell you though, that I remember watching her on Johnny Carson, on the rare occasion that my mother would let me stay up that late, lol. In her defense, I think she has been working as an entertainer since her early teens and married Xaiver Cugat when she was underage. I really like Chris Kattan and hope that he can hang in there for a while, he is a very funny guy and a good actor. I am disappointed that he can't dance I agree about Nancy. PS: The cowboy didn't do a thing for me...no charisma.

Agree about Sharna's short shorts. They were the hit of the night for me. I could not take my eyes off them
Too bad Sharna is saddled (no pun intended) with a mediocre partner. Boner (or whatever his name is) looked flatfooted and generally awkward to me. The judges kept insisting, he and Sharna have chemistry together, but I am not buying it
Also agree about Charo' nose lol Eerily reminiscent of MJ's. Not pretty!
Otherwise I kinda dug Charo last night. Her performance was actually quite good I thought. It exceeded my expectation. For a 76 year old she really gave it a lot of whammy, as Len said
Jimmy Kimmel by the way picked Rashad Jennings to win the MBT. I still say Simone. If the two of them make it to the end, the finale will pit the fiances (Sasha & Emma) against one another. That's something to watch for
Chris "Brokeneck" Kattan - Total disaster. Sorry, Robin, but he may go down as the worst male celeb dancer in DWTS history. Worse even than Steve Wosniak and Billy Dee Williams put together. Disturbing to look at too. I was in pain just watching him. He moved like a elderly dude. He's only 46, right?
Erika - Apparently she has a ton of fans who think she's fabulous, but I never heard of her and was not impressed. Hate her fake t*ts and hair too
David Ross - Surprisingly nimble!
Nan Kerrigan - I guess I'm in the minority here, but I was mostly pleased by her performance. I think Artem was as well
My Top 6 - Simone, Rashad, Heather (Maks' partner), Nan Kerrigan, Dave Ross, and Normani
(Nick, The Bachelor, in 7th)

Finally got caught up. I watched Kym and Mr T and Simone and Sasha on YouTube. Mr T, what can I say, he seems like a very nice guy. But, what is with Kym's weight gain? A late in life baby on the way? Or, maybe she has relaxed since marrying Robert and is allowing herself to enjoy food a little more Simone was excellent. She and Sasha are a good match.

Well, when youve hit the jackpot like KJH did, Robin, it's only natural, I suppose, to let yourself go a little bit
She still looks okay, but definitely more beefy than the last time she danced on the show. I noticed right away
Apparently spending Robert's money burns off fewer calories than putting time in at the rehearsal room
Who knew?

I think it might be all that fancy food, lol. Lobster Thermidor anyone? The only other explanation is a bun in the oven.
I signed up again because I was having difficulty posting as a guest.
PS They do say that women over 40, and men too, start putting on weight, slower metabolisms and all.

Well, it may be middle age creeping up on her. But she's only 40. Youd think a dance pro would be able to keep it together a little better, slower metabolism or not
Not that she looks terrible. Just noticeably larger
I hope it's not a baby. Geesh. Robert has three kids already. He doesnt need another one of those
PS America sends home your boy, Kattan, tomorrow night. That's my prediction. IMO it will be a mercy booting

Poor Chris, he looked so sad 😢.
I can't tell if Charo is really crazy or putting on an act? Simone, Normandi, and Rashad seem to be doing the best.
Maks really hurt his leg this time. Peta doesn't seem to be that into it, I think she'd rather be home with Shai.

Yeah, I felt bad for Chris Kattan too, Robin. I apologize for calling him "Brokeneck" last week. That was a really dumb, thoughtless thing to say
Poor guy is so messed up physically he can barely turn his head to look sideways, nevermind performing an strenuous routine. What motivated him at this stage to give ballroom dancing a try, I have no idea. I suppose it was an attempt at career revival, but DWTS is not the right platform for that. Not for him it isnt anyway
So I'm actually glad he was voted off. Someone with his physical limitations never should have been put on the show in the first place. I wish him well though
They were pretty vague about Maks' injury. I interpret that as a bad sign, so I'm not expecting him back this season. Too bad. His partner, Heather, is a good dancer, one he could have potentially won with. Her jive last night was really jumping
And I think we might have been a little premature the other day when we "fat shamed" KJH. Last night in her little black outfit that showed off plenty of skin, Mrs Herjeve looked pretty damn fantastic IMO. I take back anything negative I said about her above:)
My Official DWTS Week Two Power Rankings:
1) Simone 2) Rashad 3) Normani 4) Nan K 5) Heather 6) David 7) Nick 8) Erika 9) Bonner 10) Charo 11) Mr T

It's showbiz, I guess. DWTS invites these celebrities to participate for the entertainment value I suspect. Sometimes it works. Remember the guy with one leg and one arm, the female with prosthetic legs, the little person, all the folks over 70.
Chris said DWTS kept inviting him, at least 2 or 3 times over the last 3 years. He finally agreed. They pursued him, not the other way around.

Well, if the show pursued him, he should have had the good sense to say no every time
He had to know he was not up to meeting the physical requirements the show demands
Really bad decision all the way around IMO

I know, maybe he's on medication that clouds his judgment. I just hoped he could hang on for a couple of weeks.
Charo needs to go next, her histrionics are getting old already.

Yup
The carrying on she does in front of the judge's table is very annoying
She landed in the bottom two last night though, so she will be gone soon

I fell asleep during Julianne and Derek's number! I saw Charo and Keo on GMA so I have got an idea what happened, as we expected. I will have to try and catch up.

YDH & YJH put me to sleep too, Robin. Not literally. I managed to stay awake throughout the entire show. But their performance disrupted the flow last night, and my attention nodded off a little
New number one on the Official Power Rankings: Normani displaces Simone for top spot! I still believe in Simone, but I'm no longer as bullish about her winning as I was pre-season. At this point Normani is out-dancing her IMO
Not sure if youve seen Normani's foxtrot (or tango or whatever it was) yet, but it was freaking fabulous
Good news about Maks: I guess his injury isnt as bad as I thought. He said he's hoping for a "full comeback" by the end of the week. Go, Maks!
And a big night for Nan Kerrigan! According to Len her samba was the best dance of the season so far. That had to make her feel good. Happiest pro must be Artem. He seems to genuinely enjoy dancing with Nancy
New top three: Normani, Simone, Nancy

I watched the whole show! Sorry Mr T had to leave. I know, he can't dance I was struck by how handsome Artem is, I don't think Nancy would do half as well if it wasn't for him. Rashad's performance was impressive. Very nice family. His story had me in tears. I didn't understand the high scores for Erika? She looked wooden, stiff. Like a Barbie Doll.

I thought the scores were inflated for a lot of them last night, Robin, not just for Erika. The judges started grabbing the high numbered paddles early and never stopped. Maybe they got caught up in the emotion of "My Most Memorable Year" night, and as a result it made them more generous in evaluating the dances? Not sure, but Len et al seemed a little more easily pleased than usual to me I dont know who's number one any more. Normani? Rashad? Simone? Hard to pick. This season is up for grabs IMO. Nancy & Heather, also in the mix And by the way, I'm sure youve heard about Bruce by now, right? Apparently he had genital mutilation surg...errr, I mean gender reassignment surgery in January. Yes, I heard about Bruce completing the transformation from male to female. I don't understand it. Well, good luck to him, I hope he finds peace of mind.
No matter what he does to himself, his DNA will remain male.

Mr T is gone! Bummer. I caught him for the first time this week. I don't remember the dance, but watching him before and after, he seemed like a very humble, likeable guy. I have heard in the past that he was great guy. I can see it.
Since my last visit here Charo left. Thank God. She was fun for one week. Two was a stretch and anything after that was just tiring and annoying.
I'm trying hard to like Nancy Kerrigan. The judges certainly do. But she's just not impressing me at all. I never thought much of her as a skater either. I'm missing something.
Normani is the other one I can remember. I can't remember if I liked her or not, all I remember is that Normani is a strange name. And her parents seemed nice.
I guess I need to watch at least 15 minutes before I can whip up some decent snark. Next week. In the meantime, he's to a season without Mark "Look at Me, Me, ME!" Ballas. Can't stand ya!

Nancy is boring/bland. Lacks charisma? I don't know. I think Tonya(bad girl)Harding would be interesting as a celebrity contestant....maybe next season.

I don't understand anything about this Transgender thing. Especially the need to make laws "protecting us" from them. Outside of visits to P-town,I don't think I've ever run one. And if I had, I didn't notice and really don't care. Too many laws, especially ironic coming from these Republicans who otherwise claim to want less governement in our lives.
That said, I can't look at Bruce Jenner. He's just weird, I don't think there is any real genetic thing going on underneath. If he wants to quietly go about his business, great. He's anything but quiet.
As much as I liked Sharna's short-shorts, I think it's time to up the game. Bikini please. I'd probably stay up for the entire show if they teased it and saved it for the end. Right now I never make it past 9.

She seems a little uptight to me too But I disagree on Tonya Harding. There is nothing about her that I find even remotely interesting No way I want her anywhere near the show. Not next season, not ever. Not that she'd ever be invited on. When was the last time anyone ever talked about her? 2002? Yesterday's trash. No thank you!
