Also, I think sweat shorts/capris are more flattering in black. Ps: I highly recommend joining a gym. So far, it's working for me.

You can get away with those grey shorts if you have a body like that. You can get away with pretty much anything. Except that crap often seen on the Cat Walk of your average Parisian Fashion Show. Nobody looks good in that stuff.

I thought I was done for the season but I watched, sort of, the first hour. I think this contest is over. Normani crushed it, and a tip of the hat to Val for some Derek quality choreograph. That might have been the best dance not involving Derek that I've seen. (Admittedly I miss a lot).
And then there was Bonner. A tip of the Cowboy Hat to that Dude. That was possibly the worst Tango I've ever seen on the show. I didn't realize you could make the tango boring, but golly geewillikers, he did it! I loved Len's reaction, I swear I heard them bleep Len at one point while he was ripping into the poor guy.
I didn't stick around for the end, who got eliminated? I'm almost hoping Bonner stuck just to watch Len blow another gasket next week.

Bye-bye Bonner! About time. I didn't like his attitude. He's a wannabe male model, haha, good luck with that!
I figure the baseball guy is next, he is likable and all that, but he can't compete with Normani, Simone, or Rashad.

Plus the baseball player is White. Some star, I never heard of him before. Of course it only took me 12 years to discover that the Milwaukee Brewers moved from the American League to the National League, so I'm not exactly on top of MLB anymore.
Simone is too short and stubby and too young to win. Rashad is too tall. Normani in a runaway.
I have an idea for the next series. You take all of the worst dancers they've ever had on the show and bring them together for the Mother of All Trainwrecks. Your Nancy Grace's and that awful Reality Mom with the 10 kids and Michael Bolton. That would be awesome.

Sorry, I'm late this week
I dont have much to add other than to point out that baseball guy David received fourteen fewer judge's points on Monday than Normani did, ten fewer than Rashad, and (I think) eight fewer than Simone
So there's quite a wide gap between him and everyone else right now
The likelihood that he makes up the difference with viewer votes is exactly zero IMO
So my prediction of an all black DWTS finale is looking better than ever! Wooo hooo!

Hi, Ache One of my favorite actors has left the building Michael Parks, character actor, Tarantino favorite Herald Staff Sunday, May 14, 2017 NEW YORK — Michael Parks, a prolific character actor who found early fame in 1960s countercultural roles and later became a favorite of directors including Quentin Tarantino and Kevin Smith, has died. He was 77. He died Tuesday in Los Angeles, his agent, Jane Schulman, said. No cause of death was announced. In a career that spanned six decades, Mr. Parks acted in more than 100 films and TV shows. Many of his early starring roles were in anti-establishment 1960s-era films such as “Wild Seed,” “The Happening,” with Anthony Quinn, and “Bus Riley’s Back in Town,” alongside Ann-Margret. Mr. Parks also starred as a disillusioned, motorcycle-riding newsman in the 1969 series “Then Came Bronson.” For the series, Mr. Parks, who recorded a number of albums throughout his career, sang the popular closing theme song, “Long Lonesome Highway.” He played the Canadian drug runner Jean Renault on David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks.” Mr. Parks found perhaps his most famous parts in the 1990s thanks to the interest of Tarantino, Smith and Robert Rodriguez, the often connected independent filmmakers. Each turned to Mr. Parks again and again for meaty supporting roles. Tarantino cast him in multiple roles in both parts of “Kill Bill” and his “Death Proof” half of 2007’s “Grindhouse.” Sometimes, the characters followed Mr. Parks from filmmaker to filmmaker. He played Texas Ranger Earl McGraw in Rodriguez’s “From Dusk Till Dawn,” a role he reprised in “Kill Bill” and “Grindhouse.” His actor son, James Parks, often joined him, playing McGraw’s son Edgar. Smith gave Mr. Parks the largest roles of the trio, including his 2014 film “Tusk,” which paired him with Johnny Depp, and 2011’s “Red State,” as a preacher. Smith called him “my cinematic muse.” “Michael was, and will likely forever remain, the best actor I’ve ever known,” Smith wrote on Instagram. “I wrote both ‘Red State’ and ‘Tusk’ for Parks, I loved his acting so much. He was hands-down the most incredible thespian I ever had the pleasure to watch perform. And Parks brought out the absolute best in me every time he got near my set.” Mr. Parks was briefly married while 16 years old to Louise Johnson, with whom he had a daughter. He is survived by his wife, Oriana Parks, whom he married in 1997, and his son. — associated press

Shocker in the ballroom, Robin! I can hardly believe what happened tonight. This is an outrage
Did you see the judge's reaction? Poor Len had his head in his hands. It was kinda funny actually
This is what I dont like though: Simone was already eliminated last week two seconds after phone lines for viewer votes were shut down. At that point she was 4th place out of four with no chance to make top three. Her fate was already sealed. So all the hard work she put in this week that produced eight perfect scores tonight was for NOTHING
I hate that about the show. What if she had torn her ACL in practice or something? Ugh
It is like that for everyone who's eliminated of course, but that doesnt make it right. Meh. I dont like it
But anyway another shocking result. That's three out of the last four weeks. No ABF (all black finale) now either. That sucks

After drinking in Normani's skin tight one-piece number I figured it was all down hill, so I bailed. It's better if that's my lasting impression of this season, which I've dubbed the Sharna Short Shorts Season. Giddy up.

Well, Normani was the leader going in, and she danced beautifully last night. Good enough to win IMO; she absolutely deserves the Mirror Ball
But I dont know
I think maybe Rashad seized the moment with a more memorable free style, and that performance might be just enough to snatch the MBT away from Normani
We'll see
I'll be happy either way though. Theyre both worthy. As long as baseball guy doesnt win, I'll be good with the result

I didn't expect Normani to come in 3rd, doesn't seem right.
I am glad for Emma though, it's her first win!
I hope Slim caught that short shorts number, lol.

Coffee does that.
No, I missed the Short Shorts finale. The Celtics were playing. And the Penguins/Senators. They drag the end out way too long on DWTS.

Disappointing night for Normani. No shame in losing, but the fact she failed to make final two seems preposterous to me
But, like Robin, I'm happy for Emma, my favorite pro. Congratulations on her first MBT
Ditto Rashad. He really earned his victory. According to Erin in the pre-show, Rashad logged over 360 hours of practice time this season which was 100 more rehearsal hours than the next nearest celeb put in. Huge difference, and obviously it made an impact. Hard work pays off, I guess
Let that be a lesson to ya, kids!

For the record: If the loathsome Kathy Griffin somehow ends up on DWTS this fall either because she was invited to participate or because she begged to be on (to help rehab her image/save her failing career from tanking even further), I will boycott Season 25 Just sayin'

Don't worry, Ache. Her career as she knew it is over. I don't think she could get a job at Dunkin Donuts now, lol For her sake, I hoped she saved some money.
What is the word, PARIAH.
And that silly attorney getting involved (Lisa Bloom) I thought she was smarter that that. Her mom is Gloria Allred.
KG's not that funny and she's getting old......some mistakes you just can't regroup from. It happens.
Poor Barron, the horror of seeing that, the poor kid.

Nobody wants anything to do with Kathy Griffin right now. All here upcoming shows have ancelled out on her. Every single one of them through November. Not that she had that many. Only seven or eight or so, but still
Q: Doesnt she have a manager or a publicist? Why didnt one of them advise her to nix the severed head idea? What made her think a grotesque image like that which is suggestive of ISIS and of Islamic terrorism would go over well even with the most virulent Trump bashers? Is her hatred of Donald Trump so intense, she's lost her mind?
Bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, I guess. She needs to get herself checked into rehab fast and stay there til her disorder subsides and her sanity is restored (if she ever had any sanity to begin with, that is)
PS Didnt see the Megyn Kelly Show last night. If it's on again next week, I'll probably miss it then too
Not a fan:)

6.1 million viewers for the premier episode of Megyn Kelly Sunday night vs 6.6 million viewers for a repeat ep of 60 Minutes. Hmmm. A little closer than I'd have guessed I wonder how many of the 6.1 mil were just curious to know what the new show looked like and now that theyve seen it won't bother tuning in next week? It i on NBC by the way

NBC Channel 7, I know. But, when I tuned in to Channel 7 all I saw was the news and a game show 7p-8p I had planned to watch out of curiosity. This has happened before, something different on that channel than what's listed in the TV Guide.

7 is no longer the local NBC affiliate. The new NBC channel for Boston over-the-air television is 60.5 or 8.1
You didnt know that, Robin? Been that way since the first of the year:)

No, I didn't know that, that explains a lot. I was wondering where a lot of programs went, lol Ps: Odd, I have Channel 7 WHDH and the news is on now. But I can't find any other Channel 7, I did a channel scan, I have all the over the air rerun channels. I'll figure it out There must be an explanation. Maybe I need a stronger antenna? Sometimes I think it's a conspiracy to get people to pay for cable.

6.1 million viewers for the first installemnt of Megyn Kelso's new show
3.6 million viewers for episode number two
A 42% drop off from one week to the next. Ouch
I wonder how many more viewers she will be losing next week? Stay tuned
Any luck finding the local NBC affiliate yet, Robin? If no, you arent missing much IMO. Except for Sunday Night Football there isnt a single thing worth watching on that dumb network

"Any luck finding the local NBC affiliate yet, Robin?"
Nope, I can't pick it up, maybe I have too many trees in the way? Yeah, I hardly miss it, sometimes on Friday evenings I would tune in to watch Dateline, that's about it.
Megyn K looks so angry, I could probably find her show on the internet, but I'm not interested enough to search.
I binged watched Orange is the New Black, season 5, last weekend, excellent.
Now I will move on to House of Cards, latest season, I love Kevin Spacey.
Netflix is cool.
