When you didn't post any DWTS rumors this summer, I got a little worried about you, so I'm very happy to see this thread in here today:)
Pretty good cast, huh?
Average age is about 44, which seems a lot older than usual to me, but better than having a bunch of underage Disney kids in the cast who nobody ever heard of
Ray Lewis used to perform a very cringe-worthy dance routine during introductions at home games in Baltimore back when he was still playing, so I suspect he fancies himself a great dancer. I hate him, but I'm urious to see how he does
I will be rooting for Kate Flannery from The Office, my favorite show. Says in the article she has a dancing background, so I'm hopeful she will do well
And I would have preferred ex-Trump press secretary, Sarah H. Sanders, over ex-Trump press secretary, Sean Spicer, but okay. No problem:)

Good to hear from you too! I should watch The Office reruns, for some reason I never saw that show when it was on.
I'm okay. Nothing exciting to report. The mice have not returned. If you google the name of one of the OBN's...

Do you mean 'K', Robin? lol She was the second one I googled after 't'  That is quite a find! How did you happen to discover it? It's definitely her in the video too Only got through two minutes though. That's about all I could take:) I will say one thing: She has a nicer kitchen than I do lol I think she married well She's also very devout, but we knew that about her already I see she's on youtube as well. I'll have to take a closer look at some of those vids tomorrow |

She told the other OBN's that she was on that religious site and invited them to join her. So, I checked it out a few years ago. Not something I am interested in. To each his own. I only looked a few times, I really don't understand what they are talking about.
I wouldn't mind having that kitchen either, lol

I notice on her youtube videos she is shalom-ing people all over the place and using other Hebrew words as well. So I don't think she is a typical Born Again like I thought she was. I don't know what she is actually:)
She seems like a nice person, but I don't ever remember her being nice to you though

Keo and Christie would be an entertaining pair, but if he wants to win, he will have a better shot with a younger partner
Unless I'm mistaken, the only person 50+ to win DWTS was Donny Osmond, and he needed Bobby Bones type help to pull it off
When are the pairings announced? Do you know?

They're probably keeping pairings a secret because they're afraid whoever is partnered with Sean Spicer will be targeted for abuse on Twitter and Facebook and perhaps IRL too
I'm only guessing at that, of course, but it wouldn't surprise me if that's the reason
Karamo Brown was harassed this week simply for saying about Spicer that he is a "nice guy"
Brown had to deactivate his Twitter account over it. Jeez
Pretty messed up world we live in these day, Robin

Yeah, the indignation over Sean Spicer from the outrage mob this week has been amazing to watch
He worked in the Trump White House for only six months. He's been out of there now for two years
At what point are these people going to leave him alone already? Is he not supposed to work anymore or appear in public again?
Meanwhile Andrew McCabe, who was fired from the FBI for lying under oath, was just hired by CNN presumably because he hates Trump
There's been some outrage over that hiring too, but not like with Spicer

Sharna isn't included this season either. If I'm not mistaken, she is off the show permanently too
Tough break for Slim. As you know he is 'hot for Sharna'
I like the Ray Lewis/heryl Burke pairing! Looks like a winning team to me, so I am going to make them my pre-season favorites to take the MBT
Last time Peta was paired with a retired basketball player (Meta World Peace) was her debut on the show, and she was booted out first week. Let's hope she does better this time with Lamar Odom

I liked Lauren, Ally, and James Van Der Beek. Most of the others were pretty bad.
Oh, and Sailor was alright considering that she only had 3 days to rehecandy.
It seemed like there were more commercials than usual.
We'll see what happens next week. I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of them drops out.

This season is going to be all about James Van Der Beek, Robin. There are other good dancers in the cast too, but IMO he is so much better than everyone else it isn't even funny
I would declare him the winner right now, but memories of the Bobby Bones fiasco are still fresh in my mind, so I think it's wise for me to put off making any bold predictions for now
Worst dancer: Lamar Odom! Forty year old guy, dances like he's 80. I don't ever remember anyone getting a 3 score, do you? But he got two of them last night
Sean Spicer wasn't much better though. Dumb shirt too. He looked ridiculous in it. Wardrobe people must be Trump haters
Agree about Ally and Sailor. They were superb. I would also add the lovely Hannah Brown of Bachelorette fame. She got the season off to a fast start with a rousing cha cha cha with partner, Alan

If I was Lamar I would just break a toe or something and quit right now. The poor guy looked miserable he can't be enjoying this.
I agree about Sean. His shirt was so loud it hurt my eyes. "Wardrobe people must be Trump haters" That's funny :-D

Yes, and she not only looks like her mother, she sounds like her (same voice).
Sure, her facial features are different, but the wardrobe people did not need to make any altercations to her dress when she stepped in for her mother.
What did you think of her boyfriend, the long haired dude at her mom's table? I don't get it...

Hi, Robin Yeah, the judges are being more critical than usual this season, especially Len He picked apart Lauren's paso last night. Then gave her a 6, which is an okay score, but to me hers was one of the best dances of the night Agree about Kate. She was great. The judges love her too. They made a point to compliment her on her technique, which should only keep getting better as she puts more practice time in. I think she has a shot to make it to the end Was sorry to see Mary Wilson eliminated. I liked her positive attitude. Her style/elegance too. She deserved a better fate IMO. No way should she have been the first to go |
