I know what you mean, about Shania.
But, then I realized it was almost 20 years ago when she had that hit "Man! I Feel like a Woman!"

Double elimination! It won't be long now..... Pretty predictable at this point. Sorry to see Artem out

I didnt care for the double elimination last night, Robin, especially the way they just sprung it on us at the end without warning. What the hell? A little heads up would have been nice. I hate surprises
But if two of them had to go, I'm glad it was Vanessa and Nikki, and not Terrell and Drew. The two girls had plateaued IMO, while both guys have shown improvement every week. They are ascending. Not that they have a chance to win, but at least their performances seem to be headed in the right direction
As predicted btw Artem went back to being blonde. You noticed, I'm sure:)
And, yes, about "predictable". Been a little boring actually. This has not been a particularly memorable DWTS season

What is going on with Carrie Ann?
Was that a baby bump or is she just getting fat?

I didnt notice! According to Wikipedia she turns 50 in less than two months, so for her to be pregnant at this point would be pretty miraculous. It's probably just a few unwanted pounds. I'll pay better attention to her physique next week though. If she really is preg, I hope the baby isnt Artem's!
Good show last night. I enjoyed it that they brought back past winners for the trio dances (or mostly past winners. I dont think Corbin won on his season). Usually for a trio dance the third partner is a pro, so this was something new/different, and I liked it
Sorry to see Terrell go. On merit IMO he deserved to stay for at least one more week, maybe even two. Was hoping Victoria got sent home instead because I kinda zone out when it's her turn to dance. She just has that effect on me

I checked in for 20 minutes last night. First time since about week 2. I'm surprised Malcom in the Middle is still there. I didn't stick around long enough to see his dance but I assume he was a worthy semi-finalist. Not always the case.
I also caught the remake of Me Me Ballas's finest hour. I vaguely remember the original, which was very good. This may be the only time I have anything nice to say about Me Me. The sequel was also excellent.
Ditto for the remake of Mak's tango, which was good, but not great. I bailed before the scoring on that one, but I assume it was not all 10's based on the comments. The chick (a fiddler?) stirred my loins, if you know what I mean.
Based on my total viewing time of about 80 minutes across the entire season I'm going with the kid. I recall early that he was the standout and nothing's changed. Carry Ann is still struggling with her ESL classes. And Len must be getting some, he was very upbeat.

I was impressed with Jordan and Lindsay's version of Proud Mary jive.
Otherwise I thought the show was boring.
Also, Lindsey (the fiddler) looks a little anorexic to me.......
I could be wrong, some people are naturally thin.

Hello, Slim. I knew you'd be back. I thought your return would be a little sooner than this, but that's okay. BLTN. It's good to see you again
Interesting that the twenty minutes you watched last night were during the second half of the show. Usually you tune in early and then struggle to get past the first 15. But youre right about "the kid". He's going to win. He wrapped it up last night IMO with his "recreated" jive. No way America will deny him the Mirror ball after that performance...His personality is a little too "theatrical" for me, so I'm not rooting for him, but his talent is undeniable. He deserves to win
I'm with Robin on fiddler Lindsey. She looks a little undernourished to me. Also I hate her hair. It's a mess

I can never remember the URL to this place. Next time I flush my browser history I'll lose it again.
I love the rumbled look. Fiddler Lindsey works for me, plus she makes me forget that her partner is Me Me Ballas, that's always a plus.
Maks looks like a young doofus when he blow dries his hair. I don't usually care for the grease ball look, but it's a better one for him.
We'll see if I can watch the rest. They drag the last 2 shows out too much, so I suspect I won't make it all the way through. I have the attention span of a gnat, as my old HS English teacher used to say.

Lindsey's hair looks like a rat's nest!
But, I guess some guys find that look sexy, kind of like bed hair?
It won't work as she gets older. It starts to come across as disheveled.

Welp, Lindsey was several days older this week, and I actually bailed out right before her first dance. It was suddenly not working for me anymore, frumpy was the word that came to mind this time.
I think I saw the first guy dance, but he left absolutely no impression at all. I think he was tall. Beyond that, zippo.
Malcolm in the Middle was okay, but he's just too damn short. He still looked like a kid out there. 9's across the board, maybe, but a couple of 10's? No way. Jordan smoked it, again, he deserved 11's on the Judges scale. This contest is over. It was over in week 1.

I almost forget the best part of the entire show. Short Shorts Sharna was in the opening number and her little blue skirt was missing its sides. Three -cough - thumbs up, way up!

Maks must have read through this thread yesterday, because he showed up last night sporting what looked to me like a crew cut. Anybody else notice? It was very short. Will be a long time before needs to blow dry again
Az for Lindsey's hair, it never looked any good, but she added a weave or something to it recently, and now she looks even worse. If she wins tonight, what a travesty that will be. Someone with hair like hers has no business hoisting the MBT IMO...
Scariest moment of the night was seeing Lionel Ritchie. How many face lifts has that guy had, I wonder? Oofah!
Freestyle dances --> overrated. But Jordan's was best. He's the superior dancer this season. He deserves to win

No surprises tonight! That Jordan is so talented it's scary.
I noticed Mak's new look, I noticed Peta is letting her hair grow out, about 6 inches of dark hair. Parenthood has changed those two.
Lindsey needs to sit down and have a good meal. Her hair is bigger than she is. Probably weighs more too.

Hahaha
I doubt she weighs much more than 100 pounds, and that includes the 50 pounds of hair weave on her head. Someone needs to force feed Lindsey second and third helpings tomorrow at Thanksgiving. The gal is just too skinny
I was happy for pro dancer Lindsay last night. She's had pretty good success on the show in prior seasons, but now she's finally broken through with her first MBT. It helps having a superbly talented partner:)
Next seaon is only four weeks long, huh? Did I hear that correctly? And all sports figures too. I like the all sports, but four weeks is way too small a window. I'm guessing they have to clear room for American Freaking Idol. Not happy about this at all

Four weeks? No, I didn't hear that. I hope it's not true.
All sports figures? That's no fun. I won't even know who they are, lol

It was announced at the very end of the show just before they signed off Tuesday night
Four weeks by the way is really four shows in three weeks, so it's an even shorter schedule than it seems
I doubt Len even bothers making the trip over for it

Well, if I was about to be born into wealth like that, I'd be giving a big thumbs up too. This kid has no idea yet how lucky he is
Best wishes to the expecting parents
They must have enlarged that section of the sonogram a little to emphasize the thumb. Otherwise, yeah, it does look kinda fake

Kym Johnson Herjavec‘s dog is onboard for two new arrivals! The Dancing with the Stars pro shared a cute photo of her pooch, Lola, on Instagram Tuesday “reading” a guidebook on how dogs can prepare for the arrival of babies. “We waited so long that we decided to double up!” the couple told PEOPLE exclusively. “We are very grateful for the blessing of twins.” people.com/babies/kym-johnson-dog-preparing-for-her-twins-arrival/

Twins, huh? He must have taken her to a fancy, millionaires only, fertility clinic in Europe to get her pregnant
No way this happened naturally, Robin. I'm calling bullsh*t on this pregnancy!

Nice to be able to afford the best fertility specialists in the world, isn't it. At 41 Kym does not have time to waste. This is a high risk pregnancy no matter how good shape she is in. In fact I suspect she is at least 3 or 4 months along (past the 1st trimester) or they would not have felt comfortable announcing it. I guess this 2 for 1 has become very popular for celebrities that can afford it. Better yet, some hire a surrogate to carry them. For example: George Clooney and Amal, Jennifer Lopez and Marc, Julia Roberts and Danny, Angelina and Brad, Celine and Renee Here is a list www.instyle.com/celebrity/celebrity-moms/celebrity-parents-twins#1678428

Oh, geez. And I thought Shai was a dumb name. *shaking my head*
At least George and Amal had sense enough to give their little brat normal names
Hollywood is so weird
