Y’all know how I love to point out liberal progressive hypocrisy, and there’s been so much flowing, like a stream of molten lava from a volcano. Actually, that’s a REALLY good comparison, because since Donald J. Trump won the November presidential election, the left has blown their tops and been in full meltdown mode.
And their hatred and vileness has been consuming any and everything that stands in its way. But what is soooo very perplexing is all the hoopla over Russia. I mean really, the progressive socialists and their media accomplices want us to believe President-elect Donald Trump has some bromance and affinity for Vladimir Putin?
Doggone, have they forgotten it was Obama who dispatched Hillary Clinton to deliver that stupid little toy box called a “reset button?” I mean seriously, the left wants us to believe Trump is horrible because he wants to have a better relationship with Russia? The difference is that any relationship with the Trump administration will come from the high ground.
It was Obama, not Trump who whispered in an off-mic moment that he’d have more flexibility after reelection. And it was Obama who chided and denigrated Mitt Romney in the final presidential debate of 2012 when Romney said Russia was our greatest geopolitical foe.
So, all I can say is Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot? What the heck is mentally imbalanced for the left who it appears proudly professes their duplicitous hypocrisy with such arrogance because they believe they’ll NEVER be called out for it. Well, I’m here to tell y’all that the liberal progressives of the left are certifiably NUTS!
And that leads me to the most recent display of the leftist derangement syndrome that evidenced itself, yet again, at a Hollywood entertainment elite gathering called the Golden Globes.
Everyone has been talking about Meryl Streep, and I wish the President-elect would stop playing small ball with these small people — best to ignore the ignorant. Let’s crush them, and I’m about to do just that. I just want to pose some direct questions to the Hollywood elites, like Ms. Streep.
As reported by the astute Adam Kredo at Washington Free Beacon, “The Obama administration has paid Iran more than $10 billion in gold, cash, and other assets since 2013, according to Iranian officials, who disclosed that the White House has been intentionally deflating the total amount paid to the Islamic Republic.
Senior Iranian officials late last week confirmed reports that the total amount of money paid to Iran over the past four years is in excess of $10 billion, a figure that runs counter to official estimates provided by the White House.
The latest disclosure by Iran, which comports with previous claims about the Obama administration obfuscating details about its cash transfers to Iran—including a $1.7 billion cash payment included in a ransom to free Americans—sheds further light on the White House’s back room dealings to bolster Iran’s economy and preserve the Iran nuclear agreement.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi confirmed last week a recent report in the Wall Street Journal detailing some $10 billion in cash and assets provided to Iran since 2013, when the administration was engaging in sensitive diplomacy with Tehran aimed at securing the nuclear deal.
Ghasemi disclosed that the $10 billion figure just scratches the surface of the total amount given to Iran by the United States over the past several years. “I will not speak about the precise amount,” Ghasemi was quoted as saying in Persian language reports independently translated for the Washington Free Beacon.
The $10 billion figure is actually a “stingy” estimate, Ghasemi claimed, adding that a combination of cash, gold, and other assets was sent by Washington to Iran’s Central Bank and subsequently “spent.”
“This report is true but the value was higher,” Ghassemi was quoted as saying. “After the Geneva conference and the resulting agreement, it was decided that $700 million dollars were to be dispensed per month” by the U.S., according to Ghassemi. “In addition to the cash funds which we received, we [also] received our deliveries in gold, bullion, and other things.”
So, Ms. Streep, you’re ok with Barack Obama giving the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism in the world billions of financial resources? You know, that country Iran where women are beaten and hanged — oh yeah, remember that video of the young girl during the Iranian Green Revolution who bled out on a cell phone video after being shot? You remember, that revolution against Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that was dismissed and not supported by Barack Obama? Surely you remember that, but why not speak about it when you had your “bully pulpit” moment at the Golden Globes?
Hey, Meryl, can you call up your friend Tom Hanks, you know, the fella who got an Oscar for playing a combat infantryman? You see Tommy my friend, it’s really easy to play a member of the 16th Infantry Regiment “Rangers” at Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944. When something doesn’t go right, you just wait for Steven Spielberg to yell “cut” or whatever y’all say on set.
So Meryl, I’m asking you and ol’ Tommy Hanks, how do y’all feel about Obama giving billions of financial resources to the number one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism? Can y’all look into the eyes of those who lost their loved ones or have been permanently scarred and maimed due to the explosive force penetrators and missiles provided by Iran to islamic jihadists and terrorists?
Have any of you visited the Beirut Barracks Memorial near Camp Lejeune NC? You know that was done back in October 1983 by Hezbollah, you know, those guys that want to kill Jews and are freely operating in Syria murdering and torturing civilians. Oops, forgot, didn’t Barack Obama say something about a red line in Syria and that Bashar Assad must go? Hmm, perhaps those billions given to Iran have been used to deploy Iranian forces into not just Syria, but also Iraq…then again, Obama was so brilliant in withdrawing all of our forces from there, I didn’t hear you complain about that vacuum he created.
And look who filled that void.
So Ms. Streep, you feel there’s a problem with the truth? You mean like those four Americans who lost their lives in Benghazi was all about a video? Hmm, maybe if someone from Hollywood had produced the video, everything would have been better and wouldn’t have upset the “Islamic world.” And wasn’t it great to have Hillary Clinton do public service announcements apologizing and Barack Obama before the United Nations proclaiming that “the future does not belong to those who denigrate Mohammed.” Yeah, let’s have a discussion about truth and “fake news” ma’am.
Here’s the deal Ms. Streep. My friend Laura Ingraham wrote a book called “Shut Up and Sing” — well in your case, act. You folks are part of the liberal progressive elite — political, cultural, academic, media — y’all don’t live in our world. And we’re damn sick and tired of your politicized situational ethics trying to be some sanctimonious, aggrieved keepers of what’s supposed to be our values.
I’ve NEVER heard you lift your voice, nor many of the others who travel in your circles, regarding the policy failures and shortcomings of one Barack Obama — or Hillary Clinton and her crime cartel masking as a foundation. You and your ilk would be better served if you were objective, but you’re not.
Heck, there are conservatives out there in Hollywood who must meet secretly because of your definition of “tolerance.” Funny, I’m quite sure you have a blue and white “Coexist” bumper sticker…but you fail to embrace all Americans — you know, those deplorables and irredeemables who cling to their guns and religion.
Here in our basket, what Barack Obama did in giving $10 billion to Iran is called aiding and abetting the enemy, providing material support and comfort to terrorists. We call that treason. What do you call it? C’mon, tell us the next time at another suave Hollywood awards ceremony. Maybe you should attend an awards ceremony for those truly deserving recognition, like those who fight against the country of Iran, that Obama gave $10 billion. Maybe you should speak out about the ten Sailors who were put on their knees at gun point by the Iranians…hmm, and John Kerry thanked the Iranians for the great care given to them.
Ms. Streep, you are indeed an accomplished and acclaimed actress, but may I offer you some advice? Don’t talk about something for which you have not been provided a script. This isn’t about acting, this is for real. And please, take your celebrity president, Barack Obama, and go away.
One last thing — when was the last time you visited Southside Chicago, you know, Obama’s hometown, which is more dangerous than any combat zone? You may be a good actor, but you have no credibility as a political commentator.
