Hi Ache and gttd, I've been wondering what to do with this mostly dead forum. Out of deference to you two, the last active users here, I don't want to abandon it completely like the original admins did so I wanted your thoughts on what to do Here are the options that I've been thinking about. 1) Hand over the admin powers to one or both of you. 2) We all leave for a more active forum and I put this thing in maintenance mode. I know of a couple of sites that you both might like and one admin has asked me to invite you two to join her forum. I'm open to any other suggestions that you might have. sb |

What are the more active forum sites you have in mind?
I tried my hand at moderating a while back and it wasn't a pleasant experience :D

Well, if those are the only options, I pick number 2
I have no desire to become board administrator. If I took over, it would be just my luck that a Tampon Boy-like troll would join the forum soon after, and my "anything goes" attitude toward message boarding would be severely tested
I'd rather not have to deal with that possibility:)
You were a moderator once, huh, Robin? Was it an active site? Did you get a lot of complaints from the users there?

I didn't consider #3 because I think that it would be a shame to lose track of you two. ;-) There are a bunch of different forums out there apparently because I keep hearing about them. My favorite by far is SunnyDaze sunnyds.proboards.com/The moderator there is Deyana and she has said that both of you would be welcome. It's a good mix of people and topics and I think that you guys might find some like minded people to discuss Johnny Depp and DWTS. Take a look and tell me what you think. |

It takes about 24 hours for them to give final approval. I already posted in the Johnny Depp forum. But I agree, I'm keeping a low profile for now :)
I assume you are still "Ache" I'll keep my eye open for you.

By the way have you heard? DWTS is not in the ABC fall lineup this year. First time in 16 years
It's moving to Disney+, so if you want to watch, you have to pay a monthly fee

Yeah, I assumed you deleted your account. It was odd over there, you had to sign in just to browse. Well, it looks like this place is still here.
Drag Queen. Please. Glad I didn't see that. I caught bits and pieces of DWTS on the morning shows and that was enough :)
I worked as a cocktail waitress for a year or two back in the 70s at a place that featured female impersonators. Some of them were very nice people, funny too. But on DWTS...I don't think so.

Some of the forums there are viewable without being signed in, others are not. I don't know why they set up like that, but that's the way it is
