I haven't heard of most of them.

I'm rooting for Amanda Kloots, former Radio City Rockette and Broadway dancer/performer. I just read her memoir.

And Martin Kove, just because I like him as an actor (Cagney and Lacey) I guess he is going to be the token senior dude.

Partner matches won't be announced till the show begins, although the rumors are out there.

You are right about the girl on girl thing. There are no words, but I suspect a lot of folks will be tuning out. Hard to wrap your head around these things when you're over a certain age, lol.

Whatever, I wish them the best. I imagine there are some male viewers that may enjoy this pairing :D

Amanda Kloots is 5'10", She's the one that lost her husband to Covid. I just read her book "Live your Life" "Loving and Losing Nick Cordero"

Amanda is paired with Alan Bernstein 6'....with heels she will tower over him, lol

According to the rumors, yes, Val and Olivia, however, she appears to be very shy. And I don't know if it was the outfit she was wearing, but she looked like she has put on some weight. Otherwise she looks exactly like her Mom (Lori Laughlin) especially the face.

I was in and out of the room when GMA was on TV, so it may have been mentioned about a studio audience and I could have missed it.

The Asian one (Christine ?) is a good dancer.

Those two that are romantically involved in real life, Brian and Sharna, I don't think that's fair. They have an advantage over the others as they are extremely comfortable with each other.

This thing with JoJo and Jenna....what was that about them getting the highest score??

Amanda is beautiful, a little stiff though.

I dozed off during a long commercial and missed a few of them :D

ETA: Tyra needs to lose some weight.

Bruno let his hair grow out, he's a silver fox now.

Derek looks very mature these days, he's losing that boyish look.

They had a live audience but the masks ruined it.

Yeah, I felt bad for poor Martin Kove too, Robin

But I felt worse for his pro partner, Britt, who had to pretend she was excited about being paired with a 74 year old

She was all smile-y/happy on the outside, but on the inside you know she had to be thinking, "Oh, ****"

MK still looks good though. And his voice is still strong. He just can't move anymore. And his scores were embarrassingly low

It's really not a live audience by the way. It's just a small "friends & family" section. Everyone in it probably had to show proof of vaccination too, I'm sure. Apparently in LA County even vaccinated folks have to mask up indoors. Bummer

Lots of tall dancers this season: Iman Shumpert (who had underarm staining issues he has to fix), Bachelor Matt James, the Miz, and Cody the gay Peloton instructor

Good to see Sharna back. She's blonde now. I agree she's got a built-in advantage dancing with BF, but I think their being in a relationship adds some human interest, so I don't mind

One other thing:

I should have known they'd save the little twerp, JoJo, for the final slot last night to help promote her cringe-y/woke (and IMO inauthentic) pro-LGBTQ messaging, which she originally posted earlier this year to her millions of followers on social media, most of whom are pre-teen girls, so to me the message is inappropriate

Just sayin'

Gonna have to get used to it though because they're going to be pushing it over and over and over this season

Poor Martin Kove. America did him a kindness by voting him out though. He needed to be put down. It was torture watching him out on the dance floor, Robin

Now that he is gone, there isn't a single bad dancer left in the entire lineup. Everyone is good this season! More quality dancers than any year I can remember

I will take Amanda for the win though. As Len said about her last night, she's like "butter on a hot muffin". Super good looking too. And she is only going to get better

Who initiated the conversation about the vaccine, Robin? You or your optometrist?

Either way he should be advising you about it or passing along information about it to help you make an informed personal decision

He should not be lecturing you. That is very unprofessional IMO. Although he probably didn't even realize he was oming across to you that way

But anyway nobody should be forced to take the vax against his/her will. This vax shaming has got to stop

Next week: Not one, but two nights of Disney. Ugh. I'm already nauseated just thinking about it. I may have to pull a "Slim Whitman" and watch the first 20 minutes only...then bail:)

Also the gay Peleton instructor and Cheryl need to return to the ballroom (or be booted off the show). That remote dancing they did last night from separate locations was absurd

NSYDH (Not So Young Derek Hough) is off the show? I thought it was just for one night

He's a good judge, but he was brought in last year as a fill in for Len. Now that Len is back there is no need for Derek

Three judges is all they need anyway. Four is one judge too many IMO. Having four slows the show down

I didn't notice anything unusual about her face, Robin, but her wig looked a little crooked to me. Every week there is always something off about her though. She is a weird gal

So they make us sit through two hours of Disney drivel last night with no pay off at the end, ie no elimination. Now they expect us to endure two more hours of drivel tonight?

Prediction: If Brian Austin Green (aka BAG) is in the bottom two, he will be the one going home tonight. His scores have been low, and I think the judges just don't like him much, especially Len, and so will boot him if they are in position to
