I don't disagree, Robin:) I blame the virus restrictions mostly which have really handicapped the show. Then Tyra, who is an absolute abomination of a host I miss Tom. I miss Maks too And I miss a real live studio audience. Full house, not a few dozen friends and family members wearing masks...with piped in crowd noise That doesn't do anything for me Also as an aside: they can't even get the judge's "save rule" right anymore It used to be Len only voted in case of a tie. Last night Len's vote actually CREATED a tie! Hello? Poor Matt James must have been like, "WTF? Why am I the one going home? It was 2-2!" lol But anyway... You're right. DWTS appears to have:

Three of the four comments responding to the article mention Tyra...and not in a flattering way at all haha
* Don't even watch now because of Tyra. Just can't stand it. I was slowing losing interest anyways but always watched for someone. Now I just wait for the youtube videos.
* I wish you hadn't left. I thought you were AWESOME. I can't get over your replacement. She isn't good so I haven't watched much of the show since.
* Well Tom! You are missed. We loved your sense of humor and relationship with the judges. Tyra! Oh my god. Could there be a worst host? We still occasionally watch when there is nothing else to watch-- but we mute or fast forward every time that woman opens her mouth. She is inane, boring and irrelevant-- and enough with the over the top, ugly costumes she wears-- along with her cat walk entrance each week. Face it Tyra, your modeling days are long gone and you are a has been.
PS I thought Tom's dismissal was virus-related somehow, but apparently not
Forgot about his Sean Spicer tweet. I didn't like that
Never really watched Roseanne, but she's the star. How they kept the show going without her in it...I have no idea

I was impressed with Melora and Gleb last evening, I am rooting for them! The Grease theme was okay by me, I remember the 70's well :)
ETA: Frankie Avalon was a nice touch. Didn't know he was still around, lol

Yeah, songs from Grease were a lot more listenable than the Disney soundtrack they made us sit through last week
Not sure I agree with Len's decision to send Melanie home last night, although he was in an impossible position. Neither Melanie nor Olivia belonged anywhere near the bottom two IMO
I'm rooting for Melora too, Robin! Four more 9's last night. She keeps getting better and better
Artem though, not Gleb:)

Oops! Artem, you're right. Don't know how I confused the two.
Yeah, I thought that extra, extra tall guy would be next to go. He's not that bad, it's just that the height difference is so obvious and distracting.
ETA: I didn't think Cheryl looked right in the black spandex/faux leather outfit, definitely not flattering. The tall girls do better with that look, lol

The wardrobe people did her no favors stuffing her into those tight pants Monday night Remember last season she showed up looking like Cheryl the Whale? I thought she had dropped most of the pounds this year, but nope She still has a few more to go:)

She still has a few more to go:) She's in recovery, hasn't had a drink in 2 or 3 years. It's not unusual for someone to turn to food when they give up booze. Just speculating, of course.

Yeah, it looks good. But I gave up red meat a long time ago.
My thing (forbidden fruit) is pizza, I could live on one pizza a day plus a bottle of wine :)
I'm not happy about the cheese though, gave up dairy way back when...
When they tell me I have 6 months left that's what I'll do!
Eta: I might need a large order of French fries too, I will have veggies on the pizza so it will be a more balanced diet.
I weigh about 102, so calories are not an issue (knock on wood)
Wait! I might need a Greek salad once or twice a week too.

Pizza and a Greek salad sound good to me, Robin. I could go for that every night too. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but maybe you can convert me
102, huh? I had you pegged for around 135 or so. I'm gonna have to readjust my visual image of you now:)
By the way according to the BK website the number of calories in a Texas Double Whopper is 1876!
No wonder Cheryl i a big fatty!

Never weighed much over 110 and that was a while back. For body type, think Rita Moreno, Sandra Dee, Kristen Chenoweth, Kristen Bell, petite, weight appropriate to height. Made it to 5'3" I'm sure I've lost an inch or two, no longer check, don't want to know :)
How about you Ache? I visualize you as a William Hurt (one of my favorite actors) type. About 6 feet tall, 170 ?

Good guess, Robin. I am 6'1", 175. Just weighed and measured myself too to be sure
I don't look like William Hurt though. I suspect he'd be very offended by any comparison to me:)
Prediction: The "extra, extra tall guy", Iman Shumpert, goes home tonight!

Have to admit, I didn't make it through most of the show.
I see Kenya and Brandon have been eliminated though.

That's okay, Robin. I struggle to stay awake too. Most weeks now I can't wait for the show to be over with actually:)
Last night was pretty good though. The makeup people really outdid themselves with the face paint and prosthetics. Two big thumbs up
The extra, extra tall guy by the way received four 10's! He went from lowest score last week to highest score this week. He is the judge's new favorite. They really flipped over him and Daniella
PS Since Tyra took over hosting duties, DWTS has been a horror show IMO, so labeling last night's Halloween episode "Horror Night" was redundant
Just sayin'

The site blocks me from reading the article unless I sign up for an account there first, but it looks like the piece is about the NIAID funded research/inhumane treatment of beagle pups
Yeah, from what I heard it's pretty grotesque
Fauci lied about the virus. He lied about gain of function. He will lie about this too, I'm sure

I stayed awake last night, watched the whole show.
I felt bad for the gymnast. She was sick.
The Miz left, I wasn't sure who he was anyhow. The judges were harsh on "legs" last night. She looked disappointed.

Yeah, poor "Legs" only received three 8's and a 9. At this stage an 8 is a failing grade IMO. I thought her jive was perfectly fine though. Judges must be expecting more out of her, I guess
Good to see the little twerp in the bottom 2 last night. What a happy surprise that was. Best thing that's happened the whole season. I hope it's a positive sign for thing to come in future:)
It's a double elimination next week, so whoever receives the fewest votes/judge's points will automatically be sent home and cannot be bailed out by the judge's save rule
Oh, I hope it's the little twerp! Her hopelessly saccharine attitude and relentlessly positive energy are so annoying:)

Made it through most of the show. The long commercials kill me. Missed the end but looked it up this morning.
I was surprised at the eliminations.
The results are crystal clear at this point (imo)
ETA: I didn't appreciate the Janet Jackson theme. I prefer variety and a mix of genres.

They're going a little overboard with musical themes this season, Robin
Grease...Britney Spears...Queen...Janet Jackson...Disney (ugh)
No room for an old staple like "My Most Memorable Year". I guess they are phasing that one out
I don't know what song played during Melora's performance last night, but it seemed very inappropriate for a paso doble
What do you mean by "The result are crystal clear"?
You think it's in the bag for the little twerp? I hope not!
