Surgical masks tend to protect you from getting the virus. We know that too. Ultimately, the science says, wearing a mask only LOWERS the odds of either transmitting or receiving the virus. I'll repeat.... it only lowers the odds. Nobody has ever said that wearing any sort of mask will stop the spread of the virus, but it will SLOW the spread of the virus. Look, I get it, you live in some sort of small backwater town where buildings over four stories give you vertigo. You can't imagine seeing anymore than sixty people on any given day. I'm guessing there're mostly white and over 50. You're less than early thirties and an only child from a broken working class family. I'm not sure what your mother thinks, but I'm pretty sure your wayward father doesn't give a damn about you. |
