It feels like the Twilight Zone.
The Donald says things will be better by Easter :)

Forget about finding tp, Amazon may have some for like 10 rolls for $30, lol. Time to get creative... I don't know how much more I can isolate, my gym shut down, only place I go to is to the market and that will stop (the place is loaded with germs) unless absolutely necessary. This is very depressing. I have a mask but haven't used it yet. I have had a mild cold since December, normally I wouldn't think twice about it. To top it off, one of the dogs may need a dental! My vet is still seeing clients, one at a time. I am staying active (walking, elliptical bike) I don't think I will ever feel comfortable in a gym again. MAKE IT STOP!!! PS: Thanks for listening "Time to get creative" LOL I know, right? I'm down to my last half roll too So I'm REALLY going to have to use my imagination now Will be going to the supermarket tomorrow, Robin. If you need anything, just let me know Last week there was no spaghetti, rice, butter, eggs, jelly, or peanut butter on the shelves Hopefully tomorrow it will be a little better stocked

Be careful at the supermarket. Giant germ factory. You may want to wear a mask, many people are. Don't go during the old people times, long lines.
My neighbor told me he witnessed two old folks arguing over the last loaf of bread that remained on a shelf, lol

@ StalkingButler
Thanks for the cartoon. You made me laugh. I needed that.
You too, Ache.
Good luck on your search for tp!

I use the self-heckout, Robin, so no waiting in lines at the supermarket for me anymore. Today there was a slight delay because only four registers out of eight were in use to keep everyone at least six feet apart, but the wait time was minimal
Happy to report that spaghetti, rice, peanut butter, jelly, and butter all returned to the shelves today. Still no eggs though except for some super expensive ones laid by free range hens (or whatever they are), but I'm not paying extra for that:)
Lots of people in masks and gloves. It's wise to be precautious, but I was a little surprised by how many had them on

Ache,
But, did you find TP?
I am going to venture out tomorrow, will be out of bread and low on butter. And of course I will look for TP (getting low)
I will use the self checkout even though I never really liked the concept, when you buy reduced price stuff sometimes the scanner has trouble figuring it out.
SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES!
PS: I'll be wearing my mask.

I went to the market this morning, very unpleasant experience, in line for 20 minutes.
I couldn't use the self checkout because I had coupons and fruit that had to weighed.
I am going to look into Peapod and just go to the market occasionally for fresh fruit/veggies.
I feel sorry for the cashiers at the market, they look totally stressed.

No TP, Robin. I wasn't expecting to find any
It's going to be a while before it starts showing up on the shelves again, I'm afraid
Like you said the other day..."Time to get creative"
An attendant btw will help you with your fruits & vegetables at the self-heckout register
And if you have trouble with a manufacturer' coupon going through, she'll help you with that too

I know, Ache
But, the supermarket experience will never be the same for me again.
This virus scare changes everything.
I will make a list, get my dry goods and canned goods from Amazon, so I don't have to go to the market as often.
I was looking at Peapod but from what I understand the delivery guy expects a tip, so I am not sure it would be cost effective.
Have you been watching Court Tv? Interesting case going on, NFL Player on trial for multiple rapes, graphic details.
This is light entertainment imo compared to the constant virus updates on the other channels, lol

Robin:
Eventually this virus is going to flatten out and blow over. I know it doesn't seem like it ever will, but it will, and when it does, I hope you will feel less anxiety about going out shopping again
It bothers me that you are so stressed about this. I wish I could tell you something to relieve your stress a little bit.
It is good to be guarded like you are, but I wish you weren't so freaked out as you appear to be
Yup, I did notice that CourtTV wa covering the Kellen Winslow Jr trial. It i taped coverage, right?
And, yeah, only in the weirdness that we are living through now would a rape trial be considered "light entertainment" lol

Thanks, Ache
I'm okay.
Saw your post about NP, it's rumored she's had a facelift, eyelift and Botox. Scary looking woman.

Yeah, Nancy has had a lot of work done. It seems pretty obvious even to my untrained eye
She used to be a pretty nice looking woman too

We're all in this together and we'll come out at the other end wiser for the experience. Meanwhile, might I suggest Kleenex as a viable substitute

I thought of that already :) Was told it doesn't break down like toilet paper "Valued for their soft texture, Kleenex and other facial tissues are at hand's reach in most homes. They are often used interchangeably with toilet paper during cold and allergy season, to catch sneezes and dry runny noses, but they're not good for the potty. Facial tissues do not break down in water the same way toilet paper does. They should never be flushed down the toilet; flushed Kleenex can cause clogs and other serious plumbing issues". "Flushing Kleenex and other non-toilet-paper materials down a toilet can clog the toilet itself, but more commonly it creates significant clogging in the home's main drain pipe leading to the sewer or septic system. Because the tissue material is resistant to breaking down, it gets stuck on bends or other debris in the drain pipe, contributing to the stoppage. Flushed tissues are a common source of problems for municipal sewer systems. For homes with septic service, tissues can create a need for more frequent pumping of the tank". www.hunker.com/13420163/is-it-ok-to-put-kleenex-in-toilets

Thank you, Robin My neighbor (who I suspect of being a hoarder) bailed me out last weekend, so my situation isn't quite as dire as it was ten days or so ago:) Good to know TP is readily available once again though

Oh my goodness! It was available this morning but it is now "currently unavailable"
Good thing I got my order in :)
That's funny, I have a neighbor who is a hoarder too, but don't tell anybody. SSSHHH
My neighbors (on the other side) go to BJs and buy stuff in bulk so they bailed me out a while back.
And, I noticed a Roto Rooter van at another neighbors house yesterday, I guess no one warned them about Kleenex or RR, lol

I'm not surprised, I guess, but wow. That supply sold out fast, huh?
Good for you for being johnny-on-the-spot, Robin
I hope you got a 24 pack. That should be enough to last you through this dumb virus, right?
And maybe even the next one too:)
